This Spring – before I went to Europe – I was drinking Piña Coladas by the ocean, sleeping under an umbrella and getting deliciously tan in Florida. Oh. And room service! Can’t forget that.
Anyways, The Don Cesar was incredible and I’m so excited to share all of these photos with you. Here’s a look at what my stay in room number 230 was like.
The room we stayed in was incredibly lovely. It had a large marble top bathroom with two sinks, two giant beds, a living room, and (my favorite!) a balcony. All of the interior had a really relaxed beachy vibe that I loved and I wish I could live there. Seriously. I would happily stay in that hotel room forever.
But you know what was even better than the hotel room? The view!
We had a hotel room whose balcony was facing the beach and pool, and the view was beyond incredible. I mean just look at that tower. And those palm trees!!
Another great thing about the Don CeSar is their incredible tasting, 24 hour room service. Yeah you heard me. 24 hours!
We ordered a dinner and a breakfast from the room service menu and everything was five stars. When we ordered dinner, I got fish tacos. Yumm! And for breakfast I got a mouthwatering omelet and an english muffin.
The pink palace was lovely on the outside as well. I loved the winding staircases and palm trees everywhere. Plus, it had a couple great restaurants, an indoor and outdoor bar and even a little ice cream shop and stores! So cute.
The best part of all, though, was of course the beach. You really cannot beat St Pete beach! I love all of Florida, but this beach is a top rated destination for a reason. Unlike a lot of beaches where the water drops to large depths just a few feet in, here you can walk for a long distance before the water even touches your stomach. This makes for lovely strolls at night and is great if you’re playing with children.
And enjoying St Pete beach from the Don Cesar was just that much more special; we had private chairs to relax on with umbrella shade and plenty of Pina Coladas. Yumm!
Whether you are going on a girls trip, honeymooning, or family vacationing, the Don Cesar is a great choice. I rate it as 5 Stars for sure!
