Introducing The Monochrome Collection | Lightroom Presets

lightroom2A couple weeks ago I wrote a post about different photography projects I want to try this year and said that I was most excited for The Monochrome Project. Well, I haven’t done that project yet. But I have finished creating my collection of black and white Lightroom presets!

I personally think the standard black and white filter that editing softwares provide is quite bland on its own. Black and whites should capture your attention and be full of emotion. This is something I do not think they can do unless they are enhanced with contrast and texture. So I made myself some presets. And since a lot of you seem to like my editing style, I thought I would make them available to you as well. 🙂

The Monochrome Collection

Included in the Monochrome Collection are 10 Lightroom presets – three for bright photos, three for dark photos, and four for overcast photos. They are available on Etsy for $36 and I will also be adding them to Creative Market soon. The reason there are so many presets is because I wanted to make sure you can get the desired effect on all of your photos. I have tailored the settings just right so the presets will work with your photos no matter their exposure level or shadow to highlight balance.

If this is something you are interested in, the rest of this post has comparison images demonstrating the presets. I would also love it if you could give me feedback about the collection’s range and price in the comments. I have never released any products before, so your opinion is greatly appreciated! 🙂

P.S.

Please do not feel obligated to purchase this collection just because you are a supporter of my blog. I don’t want any of you to feel pressured into buying something you do not want. I’m merely making these available for those of you that are interested ❤︎ Oh! And if you want to save this post to pinterest, here is a picture with the title on it!

Yes! These presets give life; the new images are much more vibrant. I know nothing about photography but I know that your presets really make a difference.

These presets are gorgeous! I agree and your B & W is much better than the Lightroom. If I start doing more b&w photos, I’m highly considering your presets!

I totally agree with you about some black and white photos seeming bland, but with your editing they look amazing – and so much more vibrant!!

Wow! Your presets certainly make a huge difference over the standard including Lightroom preset. I don’t usually display black and white photos on the blog. But it’s fun to know where I can find help if I’m looking for it!
