The Bellbrook Backpack | A Johansen Totes Camera Bag

Some of you probably remember when I reviewed the Siena bag this past spring. You know, that gorgeous leather camera bag from Johansen Totes? Well, I am back with another beautiful bag from this company. A backpack this time – the Bellbrook in black!

In the past, I was never big on backpacks as I have always preferred to carry things at my side in large handbags or satchels. The more camera equipment I purchase, though, the bigger the bag I need and the heavier it gets. This has been killing my shoulder, so I figured it was time I started using a backpack for once and I couldn’t be happier with the one I chose. Hope you like it!

The Bellbrook Backpack

The Bellbrook is a high-quality backpack handcrafted from waxed, American-made canvas and trimmed with leather. It has a sturdy frame, is extremely durable, has padded straps, a padded back, and holds a lot of equipment. But best of all, it is water-resistant! I spent quite a bit of time in the rain when I was in Canada and not a single drop of water got inside the backpack, so I can attest to the fact that it is well-made.

Another reason why I like this backpack is because of its set-up. There are two zipper pockets on the side for easy-access to your camera(s), a separate laptop compartment, a large zipper pocket in the front of the bag, and a removable case in the top of the bag. You have full control of your backpacks set-up, though. All of the sections are made by seven padded dividers that can be arranged to your liking. Or, if you would prefer a typical backpack, you can remove them all. Needless to say, the Bellbrook is very versatile!

1The Bellbrook may not look like it would hold that much, but it actually fits a great deal more than you would think. So far, I have fit two Cameras (my Canon 6d and my Olympus OMD EM5 Mark II), two zoom lenses, one large fixed lens, my 15 inch macbook, and extra batteries inside. For pictures on its compartments and set-up, click here!

4If you are looking for a bag that you can use for your camera equipment, while still maintaining a stylish appearance, then this is definitely the one for you. With its satin-brass closure and sleek construction, the Bellbrook is sure to impress!

I love having it in black as it goes with all of my outfits. However, you should also know that it comes in a beautiful Olive green and a light gray. There’s something for everyone!

PS Can you just always post photos around castles?? They turn out so so pretty. xo
